Well, this week's been cruddy. I meant to type what been kicking me down in the dumps lately, but then I get distracted and fizzed by something on the computer or I'm too incomprehensible and whiny to really explain what's bugging me. XDDD;;; So, in case the Emo*Attack lingers... basically, I think I'm trying to hard. Or something. Maybe I need to tap in touch with other stuff or something. Catching up on H*R helped too. *nod*

Funkily enough, I got home and opened up "Super Mario Adventures" comic scans I saved yesterday. Damn... I think I needed that. Charlie Nozawa is officially my New God.









...Now THAT'S my idea of a comic.

Greenband Jiggly: Makes nice use of the Mario elements too, like the cape and such. Definitely fits right in with Suepr Mario World rather than forcing inferences or having "Super Mario World" in the title.

Greenband Jiggly: And the humor is WONDERFUL. Fits the comic and series perfectly, and a lotta these lines are priceless and on my quotelist. Being eaten by Vile Vegetation sounds like what a kid would complain at the dinner table, eh? ;D
Greenband Jiggly: Heck, even the puns aren't jarring and fit right with the situation, cracking even a smile outta me. The humor is warm-hearted and actually funny. (Something Archie comics could learn. *cough*)
Greenband Jiggly: And the chapters definitely leave me for more... as a kid, I would've HATED having to wait each month for the next Nintendo Power to learn what happens next. X333

Greenband Jiggly: I can picture a billion icons from the comic sometime in the future. The expressions and pretty art just call for it. X333



Unfortunately, I only have up to Volume 7. ._.;;; Okay, so maybe I was luckier this time 'round, 'cause I first discovered this comic with only its first two volumes, only with the first issue of Mario & Wario. XDD;;;
