androgyny - I've never really been interested in genderbending. Pretty much what sums it for me is, "Oh, Sonic has boobs now" and I yawn. But there's something really neat about not being able to tell what someone's gender is. It adds an air of mystery to someone: you see this pretty guy (girl) and the fangirls pretty much have their minds fucked because they don't know whether to drool over the HAWT bishie or ZOMG HATE THE BITCH for getting in the way of their precious yaoi. XD I hold interest in characters without genders too--(thus requiring special pronouns. ;D) and lots not forget what androgyny is too--having both genders. :o
crackships - Screw being normal. XD! Who cares if they never interacted in canon? Who cares if one's a robot and the other is a slice of cheese(Knuckles is TOO defensive about the Master Emerald anyway)? Fandom is never meant to be taken seriously, and shipping even more so. So lets make some jokes and laugh! XD (And let's face it, most of these make more sense than "regular" ships! XDDD)
geno/mallow - "And this is Geno, the guy I told you about!" --Mallow. This is my main Mario OTP, and I wibbled over the fluff for aeons (before I got into Sonic fandom and focused my attention on Sonadow. XDD!) I thought they were super adorable, sweet, and innocent together, doubled with the few subtle subtext in the game where Mallow introduces Geno first before the others in his party, and that before departing home, Geno floats over Mallow's hands first. Whenever things in fandom get too hairy and messed up, I relax by enjoying a love that touches the inner core of my heartstrings--together forever, though far apart. ;D Aka one of my Sappy OTPs.
greek mythology - The Greeks are amazing. I love the stories they tell, I love their human-like gods, I love the creatures that inhabit their worlds--I love their mythology. From Hades and Persephone, Eros and Psyche (okay, that's Roman. But still! :o), Perseus and Medusa, The Odyssey, Hercules and the 12 Tasks, Theseus and the Minotaur, Pandora's Box, etc.! Seriously, these guys have EVERYTHING. (Not to mention Medea completely PWNs Iason in Euripides's play). Poseidon, the Underworld, Styx, Lethe, the Furies, the Fates, I could go on for hours! Did I mention Athena is my heroine? :o

stephen sondheim - SONDHEIIIIIIIIIIM *________________________* He did the music for West Side Story, by the way. :o He also did Into the Woods (Starring your favorite fairy-tale characters like Cinderella, Jack (in the beanstalk fame), Red Riding Hood... and the Witch as played by Bernadette Peters! :D) and Sweeney Todd, which Tim Burton is currently making a film of. :333 My Dad was the Mysterious Old Man in Into the Woods, and not only was Mom apart of the Chorus (and her best friend Jane won a Tony for her performance as the Old Lady) in Sweeney Todd, I watched rehersals and worked backstage as a girl! :o

bunnie rabbot - My favorite character in SatAM. <3333 I love what a complete sweetheart she is and how tough she can pack a punch at the same time--not to mention she has the most adorable Southern accent ever. :333
calvin & hobbes - One of my favorite comic strips growing up, including The Far Side and Garfield. There's so much to love about a 6-year-old and his stuffed tiger, AND I always crack up at the snowmen he makes during the winter season strips. XDDDDD! "Why does he have a hot water bottle on his head? :/" "He's commiting suicide! :D"
yuri - Believe it or not, I like girl-on-girl action too. XDDD! Just came to the scene later than yaoi, there was zero yuri subtext in my fandoms from back then (except for Digimon. MIYAKO/HIKARI FTW). But now that more games have come out and I'm into a variety of stuff, I can catch girl luff all over the place. XD Several of my favorite yuri ships include Goombella/Vivian, Tiff/Rona, Starfire/Raven, and Sally/Bunnie~ <333
yami no matsuei - The Afterlife + Shinigami (Angels of Death) + the most GORGEOUS artwork I've seen other than CLAMP/Yu Watase/etc. + great characters + pretty music + endless yaoi subtext = FTW *______________________* One of my all-time favorite animes/mangas right there, not to mention it has my favorite villain ever (Muraki Kazutaka--hell, even typing his name gets me scared and I hope to hell I NEVER meet him or someone like him IRL). I wish Yoko Matsushita would continue the manga soon. D: I wanna see what happens!
disney - My first memory of my entire life was crawling out of bed and seeing my mom beside a TV, where Jungle Book was playing the part where Kaa was hypnotizing Mowgli. It's practically my childhood, man. :o Sure, I may not like all the movies (Dumbo, Pinocchio, Cinderella, Black Cauldron = YUCK) but there's many others I adore to death and pieces, like Emperor's New Groove, Hercules, Beauty and the Beast, Great Mouse Detective, Robin Hood, Aladdin, Little Mermaid... I could go on for ages. It's been a bummer the past several years (boo Eisner), but Enchanted looks fucking awesome and I can't wait to see it. XDDD! (not to mention the princess shares my name, so that entices curiousity. oO;;;)
P.S. Simba sucks. I like Lion King and all, but Simba's an idiotic hypocritical whiner. XDDDD! THERE I SAID IT *cackle*
kid icarus - One of my favorite NES games. :o I fell in love with Pit when I first saw him on the SSBB trailer, so I was curious about him to the point where I downloaded the ROM and beat the entire thing. Now it's just... gah! I love him even more now. *___________________* I get to finally understand the Centaurians and see how GORGEOUS Palutena is and waaaaaaaaaah! *_________________________________________* Oh yeah, and pent my aggression on the Eggplant Wizard. XDDDDDDDDDDD! CURSE HIM DAMMIT (Let's not forget the Reaper theme~ <3333) Oh yeah, a video game based entirely on Greek Mythology and on the myth of Perseus? (see above) YES PLZ Points to Nintendo for naming Palutena after "Pallas Athena". ;D (Embarresingly enough, at first I though it was pronounced "Pahl-oo-ten-uh" as in Utena... ^^;;;)
sonic/sally - My biggest OTP with Bunnie/Rotor in SatAM. :3 I love their interactions in the cartoon, and I love how they bicker and crack me up and I love how they work together and are just completely there for each other and... waaaaah. T______T It has a way of being hilareous, dramatic and sweet at the same time.
