Or as I call it, everything you ever wanted to know about being a Magical Girl (but were afraid to ask) The essayist brought up some points I hadn't thought of before. :o

My birthday's tomorrow, but hell has pretty much exploded at my house... long story short, I'm spending several days here at Dave's. I probably won't have a big fancy party, but I don't think I can afford that anyway and I'm not too worried about it. I'd rather have a quiet and peaceful party rather than having bad things stir up between me and Mom again. :(

That really is an interesting essay, a couple of things in there I never really thought about in Sailor Moon, that's for sure. Madoka was fucking awesome.

I hope you at least had a good birthday despite everything. I've been fighting with my mom the last two weeks and she's not only ignoring all my texts but going behind my back to every family member she has the address to and telling them to not go to my wedding because supposedly I'm an awful bitch. Nevermind the fact that it started when she called me lazy when I asked for help with my wedding, and I got upset and told her it fucking hurt for her to say that and asked for an apology, which she never gave.
