As I said on your post on LJ. While I do believe that people need to watch their words so that they think about how they treat other people/how considerate they of other people, the wank on LJ has gotten to the point where some people refrain from posting anything that might (I say 'might', not 'will') come across as -ist/-phobic in case they get dogpiled. And how does that help social justice at all?! Sure, watching your words is a good thing but being afraid to speak at all is not.
