Falls asleep on the couch: Hilbert. And he'd snore, possibly drool.
Makes friends with the neighbors: Hilbert, of course. N is befriending the neighbors' Pokemon. XD
Is the adventurous eater: Both. N's quieter and cleaner while Hilbert is OMNOMNOMNOM.
Hogs the covers at night: Hilbert. Good thing N doesn't mind the cold. :P
Forgets to do the dishes: Hilbert. N's the orderly one around here. :P
Tries to surprise their partner more often: N. Hilbert wears his heart on his sleeve, but N's a lot more subtle, so he's better with the surprises. :)
Leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Hilbert again. Poor N, playing the maid. :(
Stays up til 2 AM reading: N. I can see him reading to Hilbert and their Pokemon until they fall asleep~
Sings in the shower: Hilbert.
Takes the selfies: Hilbert, of course.
Plans date night: Both!
Drinks all the coffee: Neither of them like coffee. XD N prefers tea and Hilbert likes soda.
Brings up adopting a pet: Hilbert! N would be a little hesitant at first considering his upbringing (considering how he used to release his Pokemon), but he's eventually comfortable with the idea. :)
Always ends up with too much junk food after grocery shopping: Hilbert. Good thing N's a vegetarian, so he's got an eye for healthier food. :o
Nicknames the other: Neither. Technically "N" would be a nickname, but let's face it, nobody ever uses his real name. :P

Because Ghetsis was smoking Maractus needles when he picked it out. (Though to be fair his birth parents could've done it, but I like Sora's theory about Ghetsis being high better. XD)

I don't think N had a name when Ghetsis found him all alone by himself. So I'm pinning his awful name on Ghetsis. :P

Makes friends with the neighbors: They're both good at making friends, but AJ's especially amiable.
Is the adventurous eater: AJ of course!
Hogs the covers at night: AJ. I think we saw for ourselves. XD
Forgets to do the dishes: AJ, much to Rarity's frustration.
Tries to surprise their partner more often: Rarity tries so hard to find something AJ likes. ;;
Leaves dirty laundry on the floor: AJ the Slob, cue Rarity frowning as the levitates the clothes to the washer.
Stays up til 2 AM reading: Neither are the types to stay up late. AJ needs to work long and hard tomorrow, and Rarity needs her beauty sleep. :o
Sings in the shower: Both. :)
Takes the selfies: Both again. :)
Plans date night: Rarity is much better at organization and details, nom.
Drinks all the coffee: I can't remember how often coffee was mentioned on the show. I think AJ? Rarity would probably prefer tea.
Brings up adopting a pet: AJ, since Rarity would be a lot more picky and worried about how Opal would react.
Always ends up with too much junk food after grocery shopping: AJ indulges now and then, and Rarity likes a good sweet as long as it doesn't mess up her complexion.
Nicknames the other: We already got AJ. ;D I can see Rarity using endearing pet names like "dear" though. :)

This is so cute and fits so well in canon that I want them to become housemates for an episode.

Nanami/Saionji

Falls asleep on the couch: Saionji. He's often in the dog-house.
Makes friends with the neighbors: Nanami, though she prefers the term "underlings."
Is the adventurous eater: Saionji's the cook, so naturally it's him.
Hogs the covers at night: Nanami is THE Blanket-Hogger Professional.
Forgets to do the dishes: Nanami would insist on Saionji doing all the chores at first, but after some Character Development, starts helping out in the kitchen herself.
Tries to surprise their partner more often: Surprises tend to lead to misunderstanding shenanigans, so they tend to prefer to ask each other first.
Leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Both before they decide "fuck it" and pick up after themselves.
Stays up til 2 AM reading: Maybe Nanami, but unlikely. Saionji prefers fencing.
Sings in the shower: Nanami sings some notes to herself if she's in a particularly good mood.
Takes the selfies: Nanami, definitely.
Plans date night: Nanami, and she'd be quite proud having her arm around Saionji's and leading him around/showing him off at parties.
Drinks all the coffee: Saionji prefers a small cup, he's neutral toward it.
Brings up adopting a pet: None. Nanami doesn't want a repeat of what happened with Touga's old cat. :( They've already got Touga's new cat to look after anyway.
Always ends up with too much junk food after grocery shopping: Nanami. Let's hope Anthy doesn't curse her again.
Nicknames the other: None, they're good with each other's names. Saionji may refer to her as "mistress" though. :o
