So happy to hear you love the original Matrix, it's one of my all-time favorites! I'm glad you've chosen to avoid the sequels too, I really wish I did, hah. I do recommend The Animatrix though, it's worth a look for all the different animation and direction styles alone, plus I think you'd dig the apocalyptic horror depicted in The Second Renaissance segments.
