Thanks for the link to the cannibal ants fic 👀

I definitely recommend The Animatrix, though I also enjoyed the original trilogy + sequel so ymmv. But I think The Animatrix does a nice job of fleshing out the universe's backstory and answering the question of "What is life like for random non-MC Zion inhabitants?"
