The Amazon... Doomed?
Gee, thanks a lot, world. You got your damn cattle and money--you're just this close to wiping out one of the greatest treasures in the world, billions of more animals and plants, and everybody else in the world though you'd only care for the latter over the first two.
Sometime in the future, I'm going to hermit myself, 'cause trees and everything else beautiful and all the gorgeous refuges I've explored as a kid are myth now.
