It's one of the most bullshit phrases to come along since "the customer is always right!" No, you DON'T know what's best simply because you're a parent. Just because you're a parent doesn't mean you get to decide who lives and who dies.
The thing with the recent measles outbreak is really worrying in particular, because there's so many people on facebook and what have you saying that it's 'not killer'
I DARE those people to tell that to Roald Dahl's face, considering his own daughter died of measles. Unfortunately, no matter how many people die (there's a ton of doctors who have NEVER had a measles case in their entire careers), they'll just find more excuses to further their agenda. ("SEE!? SEE!? THAT PERSON WAS VACCINATED AND THEY DIED OF MEEZLEZ ANYWAY!!!11!1")
